Motley Crue - Saints Of Los Angeles

Written by:Derek
"Saints Of Los Angeles" is the Crue's finest musical regurgitation since "Dr. Feelgood". The question now becomes:

Is 20 years of musical irrelevance, too little, too late?

Answer: What you talkin' about Willis??!!

Heck no it's not too late!!! Motley Crue is a like a hard rock virus...........You can't kill it, you just have to wait for it to go away. And these boys (well actually 3 middle aged men and an apparition) ain't goin' anywhere!!

God only knows how Mick Mars can lift his guitar let alone rip out riffs like Mola Ram at an infidel convention. As for the rest of the Crue, they actually look pretty good considering:

-Heroin Overdoses
-Mainlining Jack Daniels
-Multiple marriages to Pam Anderson
-More groupies than the Jonas Brothers co-headlining a Mylie Cyrus tour

For a five song salute to the gods of rock, check out:

"Saints of Los Angeles"
"Mutherf@*!er of the Year"
"Just Another Psycho"
"This Ain't A Love Song"
"Down At The Whiskey"

Glam rock artists of the 80's, Motley Crue included, were/are known for their tongue in cheek, sexual innuendo laden lyrics. It looks like some of that has gone away now that they are older and more..uh hmm....refined? (I don't think so!) Just listen to the chorus of "This Ain't A Love Song" and you will see what I'm alluding to. Let's just say it IS NOT a Bon Jovi cover song! (not that there is anything wrong with that)
