The Rosewood Thieves - From the Decker House

I'm still listening to this album now as I write the review as I'm a little lost for words, these guys have a great presence in the flavor of the Beatles and John Lennon but it's a crowded and fierce area of music to be trying to make your living. Especially since you still have to compete with the Beatles for listeners :)  But you listen to them and tell me they don't give you that feeling that your listening to a 2008 version of what the Beatles may have been.

These guys seem to have that down home folk feel with the organ's and laid back vibe of the instruments and some of the lyrics but what really gets you is the lead singer Erik Jordan's voice blending it all together and sounding freakishly like Lennon. 

I can tell you though if these guys were pumping out music at the pace of the Beatles or Lennon I'd be buying for rotation in my relaxing music set.  Just goes to show the staying power of the best of the best the Beatles....
